The Carson Box Plant has an opening for an experienced Sales Representative who is motivated and capable of bringing profitable business to International Paper. 
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Developing and executing key account plans with high priority strategic accounts.
  • Providing insight for development of customer value propositions that will create IP market advantage.
  • Providing timely feedback to the region’s leadership on the market, customer and competitive activity.
  • Completing a selection and prioritization process to determine the top strategic accounts to focus sales effort and engage support resources.
  • Analyzing business conditions to identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and secure new business.
  • Maintaining knowledge of priority customers; operational practices, customer base supply channels, service expectations, and financial requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of complex national, regional and local accounts
  • Effectively communicate customer objectives, needs and results to IP leadership team
This position requires 5-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the corrugated box industry. Knowledge and/or experience in the agricultural and industrial corrugated markets is essential and bulk packaging experience is preferred but not required.  A BS/BA degree is preferred, but not required. Strong sales leadership and organizational skills are a must. This job requires extensive travel including overnight and out of state.
