This position serves as a Front Line Leader for the Corrugator department responsible for supervising, directing, and leading one assigned shift of hourly employees in safety, quality, waste reduction, productivity and managing employee engagement. This is a PL8 position which reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Safety responsibilities include implementing and coordinating departmental safety processes and training to ensure a safe work environment, conducting and supporting direct reports in conducting safety observations, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Corrugator Supervisor is also accountable for identifying mechanical problems and coordinating necessary maintenance activities on the corrugator, providing accurate and timely production reporting, and communicating with prior and next shift supervisors on a daily basis. The front line leader will also be held responsible for participating in the selection of new employees, developing employees through training and conducting 1x1’s and performance evaluations, coaching employees to accomplish team goals, ensuring open communication among all employees, and providing leadership for regular team meetings and facilitating proactive problem-solving processes.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience highly preferred. High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.  At least 3 years of leadership experience is required. Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred.
