Regional Human Resources Manager
We currently have an opening for a Human Resource Manager in Binghamton, New York to provide support to 5 manufacturing plants with approximately 600 employees.  These facilities manufacture packaging products for local and national customers in New England, New York and Pennsylvania.  We are looking for a highly motivated, engaged, committed individual that has an interest and background in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
 
The position will work collaboratively with the Area Human Resource Manager, facility management, and HR personnel in providing superior human resources services to our employees and facilities.   In addition, this individual will act as a business partner and point of contact to facility and regional general manager.  This position will support a broad range of human resource activities including employee engagement, performance management, recruitment and selection, equal employment, grievance tracking, labor relations, employee benefits, compliance training, employment transactions and development of other human resource employees.   This is a “hands on” position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.
 
This is considered a developmental position for International Paper.  

Requirements
  • 6+ years progressive Human Resource experience and associated class work
  • Demonstrated leadership potential

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in human resources, business or a related field is required for consideration.
