International Paper (http://www.internationalpaper.com) is the world’s largest paper and forest products company.  Primary businesses include paper, packaging and forest products for a variety of end uses.  International Paper is a Fortune 500 Company with operations around the globe. We currently have an opening for an Accounting Specialist at our facility located in Waxahachie, Texas.  This facility manufactures corrugated sheets for local customers.
We are looking for a motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Specific responsibilities of this position will include accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, inventory reconciliation, and general ledger accounting, as well as a variety of other functions.  Successful candidates will work with the Plant Controller on cost analysis projects and assist with financial close at month end.
Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree and three years of work experience in an accounting function. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.  Experience working with Microsoft Access and/or SAP is a plus. Highly-qualified candidates will possess an associates degree in accounting or a related field and experience with accounting in a manufacturing company.
