JOB DESCRIPTION (Detailed): The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate personal leadership while contributing to an engaged and successful team environment. The employee is responsible for the purchase and delivery of market and supply agreement fiber in support of the Pensacola Mill within the boundaries of annual budgets, inventory and volume targets. This position coordinates gate wood deliveries with assigned wood suppliers, and negotiates delivered purchase price and volumes on behalf of International Paper.  The successful candidate will monitor supplier performance versus target, forecast cost and production, and implement corrective action as needed to ensure targets are achieved.  The employee ensures compliance with company policies and procedures including contract administration, financial, safety, timber security and environmental policy. The successful candidate will have operational and administrative responsibilities for at least one wood storage yard including maintaining fiber inventory in compliance with corporate financial policy and safety performance standards. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to projects that will improve safety, logistics and cost to operate along with providing support for business reporting.  Position will be located in the Pensacola office and will cover a multiple county area in the basin.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  BS in Forestry, Business, or equivalent. Has a minimum of two years forestry or related experience. Fiber supply/procurement experience preferred. Employee must have demonstrated leadership skills and proficiency in analytical and communication skills.
