Pulp Customer Service Account Specialist

This position is responsible for managing customer accounts daily activities and provides expertise to tactical decisions regarding those accounts.  The Customer Account Specialist role must balance customer needs with business objectives.  This position is responsible for Service Excellence (right product, in the right place, at the right time), Cost to Serve Initiatives (NPI’s) and managing inventory to targeted levels.  This person is responsible for collaborating with members of the Business, Supply Chain and third party vendors to develop and execute customer-specific account plans to improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.  
Key Accountabilities:
  • Effectively handles strategy, high-volume and challenging accounts; responds to customer inquiries expeditiously.
  • Acts as primary customer service contact for assigned key accounts; understands, anticipates and responds to customers and business’ needs in a changing environment.
  • Understands and executes the business rules and processes while fulfilling the customer needs.
  • Proactively provides back up support to team members in Memphis and Krakow customer service teams.
  • Works closely with sales to understand customer demand and enter orders in a timely fashion to be produced and shipped to customers.
  • Acts as a problem resolution expert identifying root cause and introducing corrective solutions in all steps of the supply chain.
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of products, market strategy, customer account plans andbusiness rules
  • Understands the Paper and Tissue market and IP’s role in this market.
  • Works jointly with sales and supply planning to identify process gaps and implement efficiencies to the Paper and tissue process.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, which includes a fluent capability with the Spanish language
  • High Customer orientation and commitment
  • Good Interpersonal and organizational skills along with Analytical and Problem Solving skills
  • Understanding of orders management
  • Proficiency in SAP and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Exhibit solid business knowledge
  • Required to work well with the team and other internal departments
  • Ability to work in a global environment with multinational team and customers.
