This position supports International Paper’s Columbus Modified Fiber Plant (CMF), located in Columbus, Mississippi. CMF is a vital part of International Paper’s Global Cellulose Fibers Business. We are a converting operation that produces specialty fibers used in the production of diapers and other absorbent personal care products. The successful candidate will be responsible for moderately complex engineering projects and direct the work of assigned technical associates. They will promote increased performance of machinery and equipment through failure analysis, and report to the Maintenance Manager.
Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with plant operations, maintenance and engineering to implement strategic initiatives that support achievement of reliability objectives, key performance metrics, maintenance cost objectives and capital projects execution.
