E & I Maintenance Supervisor
FUNCTION AND SCOPE:
The E&I Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the work activities of an entire E&I crew, including planned, scheduled and emergency work assigned, code compliance, quality of workmanship, training, housekeeping and all other E&I maintenance efforts. The E&I Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Area Maintenance Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with production staff to determine ways to assure and improve the reliability of equipment and systems
- Assure safety awareness, safe work and compliance with safety rules and policies in all work performed by the crew
- Provides assistance and technical advice necessary to assist in the manufacturing process
- Leadership, including workforce engagement, diversity, employee development and Labor Relations
- Communicate mill and department performance levels and standards to craftsmen
- Responsible for ensuring that all field work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Keep current documentation on all equipment and maintain appropriate specifications
- Supervision of hourly E/I crew
- Previous experience with Sap a plus
- Manages daily E/I work and routine seven (7) week outages
- Participates in Root Cause failure Analysis (RCFA) and drives corrective actions
- Supports precision maintenance and puttng control loops in precision stat.e

EDUCATION
Technical degree and minimum of 5 years experience. Equivalent years of related maintenance experience may be considered in lieu of technical degree.
