The Bedford Sheet Plant Maintenance Coordinator is a non exempt salaried position responsible for safely maintaining equipment by performing preventive maintenance work and performing repair work when needed. The Coordinator will purchase and receive spare parts. The Coordinator will work closely with the Converting Supervisor and Site Manager to optimize performance in a safe manner. The Coordinator will work closely with contractors to perform maintenance activities that are beyond the scope of the Coordinator’s activities.
- Ensure Safety is the first priority in all work performed.
- Perform preventive maintenance work and repair work as needed.
- Engage and work closely with contractors when needed.
- Purchase and manage spare parts .
- Plan, implement and follow-up on best practices in stores and purchasing.
- High school diploma or GED
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
